Employease to Provide On-Demand Communications and Decision Support Through Partnership with Enwisen
Embedded Knowledge Base and Decision Support Suite will Provide Employease Customers with Seamless Self-Service Experience for Benefits and HR Transactions

ATLANTA, GA (June 13, 2006) — Employease, the leader in employee information management, announced today that it has partnered with Enwisen to embed Enwisen’s AnswerSource Knowledge Center, the leading suite of
on-demand HR communications solutions, into the Employease Network.

  End-to-End Benefits Self-Service
The integration embeds Enwisen’s HR and Benefits Communications, Decision Support Tools, and Total Rewards modules into the Employease Network. The seamless integration – accessed via single sign-on, allows Employease users to access a wide variety of benefits modeling, comparison and decision support tools. Joint customers are already leveraging the combined solution to:

Drive the right employees to the right benefit plans

Increase satisfaction with – and adoption of – benefits options

Provide on-demand self-service for both open enrollment and year-round benefits events

Provide more consistent, accurate, and efficient communications to the workforce

Execute healthcare cost containment initiatives

Introduce major plan changes, such as consumer driven health plans

Improve recruiting and retention
“Employease is the market leader in redefining employee information management and Enwisen is the market leader in on-demand communication and decision support services,” said Phil Fauver, chief executive officer of Employease. “Combining the innovation, service and flexibility of these two solutions empowers HR and benefits professionals to reduce costs, improve service to employees and focus on strategic programs that drive their organizations forward.”

  The Importance of Tools
The rising cost of healthcare and the need to improve service to employees are driving organizations towards greater consumerism in employee benefit plans. With more choices comes greater risk of confusion for employees and greater backend complexity for employers.
Employees need decision support assistance such as calculators and plan comparison tools to help them understand their options and choose the best plans for their families. Employers need tools that simplify the enrollment, administration and billing surrounding more complex benefit plans.
According to Wally Smith, Enwisen president and CEO, “The integration of Enwisen’s knowledge and decision support suite into the Employease solutions is an ideal partnership. By integrating Employease’s automation tools with our on-demand, ’in context’ communications, employers will enjoy a seamless self-service experience that will save them money and help their employees become more informed benefits consumers.”
