Responsibilities

Primary responsibility is revenue accounting for complex contracts, including initial billing, tracking milestone payment dates, interacting with operations and sales as contracts are fulfilled, and accounting and reconciling deferred revenue balances.   Will also be involved with other general ledger accounting activity such as fixed assets and accounts receivable.  In addition to these accounting responsibilities, the position will be involved in internal financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

A bachelors degree in accounting is strongly preferred.  Some exposure to the areas described is preferred but not required.   Solid communications skills and the ability to work within a fast-paced environment should be part of the personality of the successful applicant.   Should also be comfortable working with spreadsheets and automated general ledger systems.
