Responsibilities

•  Responsible for executing test strategy, designing and developing test scripts, collecting accurate metrics, and developing automated test solutions in a Visual Studio and .NET environment.
• Execute test plans/cases, meeting all established deadlines. Perform functional system tests, regression tests, stress tests, and load tests on new and existing applications. Track to resolution any bugs / issues entered into the bug tracking database. Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers
• Design complete and accurate QA test plans and test cases based upon the available documentation, best practices and industry standards.
• Write test plans and test procedures based on customer requirements, functional specifications, and detailed design documents.
• Write automated / manual test scripts to test the functionality of web based as well as .NET applications.
• Work directly with software developers, project managers and architects to advise on potential pitfalls based upon knowledge of the applications and business requirements    

Job Requirements

•  5+ years experience of .NET, Visual Studio and SQL environments are a must have.
•  Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA department for software development.
•  5+ years experience with source control systems.
•  Must have a good understanding of all kinds of testing methods such as functional, compatibility, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
•  Hands on experience with automation tools such as: Quick test Pro, Mercury, Test complete, etc.
•  Ability to effectively solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision
•  Proven ability to bring complex test plans to timely and effective completion
•  Strong analytical skills
•  Strong communication skills both written and verbal
