Job Summary

As part of the Enwisen Customer Delivery Team, the Migration Toolset Consultant is a product configuration expert who works on the migration team to ensure that clients have a clearly defined and executable migration path.  The Toolset Consultant migrates clients following  Enwisen best practices and is able to articulate best practices to the client, project manager or account manager to support a successful implementation and client satisfaction.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Work closely with migration consultant and account manager to understand client objectives
  • Provide consultative support to Migration consultant, and client
  • Analyze client requirements and determine approach based on client needs and future support and maintenance
  • Understands and follows Enwisen’s implementation methodology
  • Configures Enwisen products based on Enwisen best practices and client specifications – may include building and maintaining HR portals, building and maintaining OB tours, or building and maintaining total rewards sites and data processes
  • Ensures accuracy of sites thru supporting QA and testing process
  • Support project timeline and complete tasks within the standard project timelines
  • Coordinates with R&D team to develop and refine best practices based current client requirements and future needs
  • Mentors and supports less experienced Toolset Consultants
  • Manages toolset configuration activities and delegates to other team members/offshore team on larger projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in front end web site development
  • Intermediate HTML and XHTML programming language (including but not limited to hand coding)
  • Intermediate CSS programming language
  • Intermediate SQL query writing experience (TRS only)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a desire to learn and master new technologies
  • Must be a “self-starter”, as well as, work in a fast paced heterogeneous group project environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel and clients, both in verbal and written modes; able to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions
  • Critical thinking skills – must be able to quickly understand issues and technical hurdles and devise solutions or alternatives
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including hours beyond the normal schedule when necessary
  • Limited travel to client site when necessary (less than 10%)

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of HR concepts and rewards programs
  • Experience building portals
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro)
  • Basic Programming languages - Flash and Javascript
  • Optimization of Flash Videos and Players with the ability to convert video files to multiple formats
