Responsibilities
The Business Development Representative is primarily responsible for generating new business by following up on inbound marketing leads, qualifying these leads and setting up meetings for the Regional Sales Managers with qualified prospects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consistent high volume of calls into Large Market Enterprise Organizations—via both follow up on warm leads and cold calling.
- Develop a significant pipeline of opportunities for the Enterprise Sales team to work including setting up meetings, phone calls and presentations.
- Accurately report all lead follow-up in Salesforce.com
- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Prepares weekly call reports using Salesforce.com.
- Works closely with the respective Regional Sales Managers and other Lead Generation Team Members to ensure outstanding results.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience successfully performing a Lead Generation Role for a Technology company selling enterprise software.
- HRIS/HCM experience highly desirable.
- Ability to overcome objections and engage prospective customers in a dialogue about their issues and pain points.
- Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills.
- Used to making a high volume of calls and booking meetings.
- Must be goal oriented with a track record of having to exceed Sales Targets.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and switch priorities effectively.
- Experience with large market account penetration including the ability to identify key contacts, relationship building, decision maker direct access, latent and active pain detection and value proposition selling.
- Business Acumen – Demonstrates knowledge of Market & Competition.
- Experience with using Salesforce.com & Hoovers.
- BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent experience.
